It all began when I signed up for two classes with Dina Wakely at Ink About It. The first class was on drawing and painting faces.

Shown above is my first class painted face. Of course there was a lot of practice and hand holding involved prior to that painting. Dina also gave up examples of painted faces and mentioned a book by Tina Berning called 100 Girls on Cheap Paper. I love her style-all that loose ink on paper.
